An automatic plastic thermoforming machine is a widely used piece of equipment for producing plastic products. The production process typically involves heating a plastic sheet until it softens, forming it with a mold, cooling the product, cutting it with a cutter, and finally stacking it at a designated stacking station. This type of machine is extensively used in the food packaging industry for manufacturing items like disposable trays, lunch boxes, and cup lids.
A high-quality thermoforming machine should not only have reliable performance but also be equipped with safety features. These features are crucial not only for protecting the equipment from damage during improper operation but also for ensuring the safety of the operator.
When operators use our equipment, setting the temperature too high during the heating process can easily damage the heating elements. Therefore, we have added an automatic protection device in the program, which will automatically stop heating when the system detects that the temperature of the machine's heating element is too high. Sometimes customers produce products with different materials, which can also affect the operating speed of the machine. For example, when using PET sheets, the maximum operating speed can reach 40 molds per minute, while for PP sheets, the maximum operating speed can reach 30 molds per minute. In addition, different depths of products can also lead to different operating speeds. If the customer adjusts the operating speed too fast, the machine will automatically enter the protection program, and each workstation will stop running. You can only restart the equipment after restoring each workstation.
When replacing molds, it is often necessary to be very careful. If the operator accidentally touches the workstation operation button while replacing the mold, it is extremely dangerous! In order to avoid this accident, we have added a locking device to the machine's workstation. When the operator is replacing the mold, they must use the workstation operation lock to lock it, as shown in the following figure:
If you purchase our thermoforming equipment, you must follow our instruction manual to operate the equipment.
