The larger the layout, the more cavities the mold can make. So what are the factors that affect the production speed of thermoforming machines?

 

1. In general, when customers use PET for production, the production speed is faster than that of PP material because PP material requires higher temperatures for softening during production. If the production speed of PP material is too fast, it will affect its molding and ultimately lead to incomplete molding. Our equipment can achieve a maximum speed of 40 molds per minute for PET production and 30 molds per minute for PP production.

 

2. Generally, thermoforming machines are divided into three station and four station types. The four station type has an additional punching station compared to the three station type, so the use of punching molds in four station production can also affect its production speed.

 

3. Generally, the production speed of large layouts is slower than that of small layouts because the mold for large layouts has more cavities and requires more molding time. Additionally, the feeding process for large layouts is longer than that for small layouts
